What to Expect

Retreats are silent gatherings of like-minded people, who together and individually work towards a common goal. I offer one-on-one micro-coaching sessions during this time. My retreats happen outside in the most basic, deep connections that exist between you and nature.  I want you to explore nurturing self.  I find this to be the most profound knowledge I affirm. The retreats are a way for you to move forward in the way you need.

This is a silent retreat. This means this is an opportunity to take a break from digital technology and appreciate the natural beauty found around us. It’s a time for you to focus on you without the distractions of speech and to be able to bring awareness to the way energy shifts; you will have the time to connect to your place within yourself and the world.

I keep an open structure for the retreat. Each season has a different focus. Much of our time will be spent outside in silent contemplation. Several opportunities for meditation and thoughtful reflection can be found on the farm - 18 acres of farmland a pond, woods, or pasture. You may also choose to spend time with the inhabitants of this land, either our cats, four horses, birds, and other natural wildlife. The written word is also powerful, so journaling is strongly encouraged.

All Retreats Include...

  • At each retreat you will, choose an emotional, physical, psychological, or energetic piece of yourself that you want to let go of because it is no longer serving you. We want to make room for positive growth.
  • Spend time in nature, focusing on your awesome self!

Single day retreats are from 9am to 4pm. I have a loose itinerary for each retreat:

Beverages and snacks available all day

  • 4 pm: Close at the Coaching Studio

Pick Your Season for an Emerging Retreat:

The nature and nurture retreats are thematically organized with the season. Our days are marked by fullness and emptiness. Light and its lack each plays a part demarcating our days, seasons, and years.  You can find out more about our Emerging Retreats by visiting HERE

Winter- January

Winter means the days grow shorter and colder, and we have more time for our inner light. Just as gardeners get through these short hours of daylight by combing through seed catalogs, we look inward and expand our imagination.  We will be working on our soul garden.  During the Winter Retreat, we will focus on our own seed catalog and imagine and plan for the possibilities of our soul garden.

Spring- April

Spring is time to plant and rejoice in the rain that will nourish the garden. During the Spring Retreat, we focus on new life: It is a time to choose one seed to plant, a time to move from thought to action, a time to create the space in your soul.

Summer- July

In summer we bask in the long days of sunshine and heat. The seed we’ve planted begins to spread like strawberries or climb like peas and beans. But to flourish, we need to tend our garden. During the Summer Retreat we refocus. We want to identify the weeds which prevent us from flourishing; giving your soul garden the space and nourishment it needs.

Fall- October

Fall is the season of harvest. As the world once again explodes in color, we begin to collect the fruits and seeds carefully cultivated throughout the year. Now we make choices: do we pull up the roots and use it all? Do we can or freeze it for a leaner time? Do we share our bounty? During the Fall Retreat we explore HOW we want to harvest our soul garden. We focus on the importance of gratitude, mindfulness, and how we can prepare our soul garden soil so it will be ready for our seed we will plant next spring.
