A year ago I got a greenhouse.  I attended a seed starting workshop at the Chesterhill Library and was able to start my heirloom tomatoes, sunflowers, marigolds, butternut squash and 4 little gourd starts.  Well, the gourds ended up covering half of the garden.  I ended up with 71 gourds!  They are currently hanging in the cellar to dry.  They need 3-6 moths to dry then they get a good bath with some scrubbing.  An acquaintance sent me a link so I am going to try and made some really cool stuff next year. In the past I have made some bird houses with dried gourds.  I did promise to gift some to friends and family.  I can’t wait to see what they create.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dw8cr6O_fYE
